New Procedure for Lodging Permanent Residence Applications
Date : 9 November 1999.
The case officer for all Interdependency applications Lynette Gault has advised the following procedure has been introduced and effective immediately:-
Lynette will conduct the interview at the time of submitting the application. Not 5 _ 8 months after the application has been lodged. You will need to
make an appointment with Lynette, when you are almost ready to submit your application allow a week to 10 days as she has a busy appointment book. Make
sure both the applicant and sponsor/nominator attend, and don't forget your passports.
So from now on do not just go along, wait for a number and submit your application to anyone of the staff officers on counter duty. But make a
prior appointment and submit your application to Lynette, this will save her and the Dept time. It will also save duplication, of a staff officer going through the
file twice.
